This painting was created from an image a local of Middleham had taken during the lockdown of 2021. Just as Winter was slowly turning to Spring, one of those Northern freezing fog morns, when the riders have to get the horses out come what may. It was a beautiful scene, full of the equestrian atmosphere synonymous with Middleham. The horses breath palpable and the jeopardy of riding horses on cold cobbled roads very real. Hope you enjoy the painting. The original is for sale and giclee prints are available as a limited run of 1/100 on high quality 315gsm cotton paper.
